Cannabis oil has hit the news again as sales have soared since Holland & Barrett starting selling it in stores in the UK. Sales have rocketed from 125,000 to 250,000 in just 12 months. The oil, a substance made up of cannabinoids, is extracted from the cannabis plant.
Until now cannabis oil wasn’t sold in high street stores, but according to the Cannabis Trades Association UK the number of cannabidiol consumers has rocketed from 125,000 12 months ago to 250,000 now when Holland & Barrett began selling it.
People claim to have taken the oil when ill and seen a reduction in symptoms, from cancer sufferers to aches and pains. There is no set study that has proved this yet, but what is Cannabis oil? and how is it different from illegal cannabis?
